Content creator specializing in editing, written and professional communication, and data visualization with bachelor of arts degrees in general writing and journalism. My background in writing, editing, researching, and design and my principles of curiosity, clarity, and passion compound in all I do to achieve results. I’m currently seeking full-time employment and reside in Illinois.

My recent focus lies on building content, readership, and website management experience for my two blogs where I’ve tinkered with CMS programs like Wix, SEO, email marketing, and social media management. Curious, tenacious, and #ready to work. Past professional experiences include my time as lead layout editor for The Flyer, a Lewis University student newspaper, as well as fiction, nonfiction, layout, and art & design editor for the online literary journal, Jet Fuel Review. In my roles, I gained a critical understanding of the publication process, the importance of collaboration, professional communication, organization, and critical thinking. Following Lewis University, I found my first full-time employment opportunity with the marketing insights company, Kantar, as data design specialist. In this role I gained considerable experience in project coordination as I worked with various departments from client services to quality assurance to offshore teams to ensure client reports were free of error and visually engaging by utilizing programs like Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Skype, and Adobe Illustrator. Additionally, practices such as clarity in verbal and written communication became key in this highly collaborative and fast-paced role to drive efficiencies and fulfill client needs.
