KMuse Reviews - Social Media

To supplement the KMuse Reviews blog, I made an Instagram page to assist in bringing readers to the KMuse Reviews website. Throughout the development of the Instagram page, I've added dynamic features such as highlights and stories. The stories feature news of upcoming releases and videos made using Kapwing, a modern editor for images and videos. Furthermore I've built Instagram story templates through Kapwing to expedite the creation process. The three main categories of the KMuse Reviews website — reviews, music recommendations, and miscellaneous K-pop articles — each house their own highlight. Each new article for these categories is promoted on the Instagram page then added to the highlight. I aim for visual cohesion for the KMuse Reviews Instagram page. Posts follow a template and format with images taking the center and text-focused graphics on the left and right. This format immerses readers in the central imagery. I also deployed gradients as a design feature for music recommendation posts as the gradations in color effectively direct the eye of the viewer to the center of the page. Through Canva, the graphic design editor, I built templates for the various types of KMuse Review posts to foster an efficient workflow. When writing captions for posts, I utilized a website called, Hashtagie, so that caption copy can be appropriately spaced. Occasionally, I promote posts on Instagram, usually sticking to $10 budgets per promotion and a target audience of 16-25 year olds from around the world. I'm currently working on increasing my following and post engagement and will continue to track developments using Instagram Analytics.
